Every character starts as a Squire. Class multipliers reshape your base stats once you commit — classes do not restrict which traits you can take.
Every character starts as a Squire. At any time while you are still a Squire, you may pay 100 gold to that class’s trainer to become Knight, Rogue, or Mage.
Once you take a class, that choice is permanent — there is no penalty for picking your class at a higher level. Classes do not restrict which traits you can take.
When you leave Squire, the multipliers in the table below apply to your character’s base stat points (Health, Mana, Capacity, and each other row). Values above 100% are bonuses; below 100% are penalties.
Each level you gain 3 ability points to spend on abilities. No single ability may have more points invested than your current character level.
Each even level you gain 1 trait point for the trait tree. The tree can be reset for a fee or at certain milestones — for example when you change from Squire to your final class.
Multiplicative modifiers on base stats after you leave Squire (100% = unchanged). Icons and numbers match the Apogean.eu class list.
